MILLWALL will not return to their training ground until April 3 at the earliest as they adapt their plans amid the ever-changing Coronavirus pandemic.
Gary Rowett’s squad had been due back in today, but with the confirmation late last week that all professional football is suspended until at least April 30 the players will remain at home working on their own fitness programmes.
The government has since also ordered all pubs, restaurants and gyms to shut and advised people against leaving homes for unnecessary trips.
The football authorities could extend the season beyond June 1 and attempt to run off the rest of the fixtures over a shorter period than originally scheduled before starting the 2020-21 campaign in August.
But with so much uncertainty it is far from a guarantee that will happen.
