BEN Thompson continued his winning start to life at Portsmouth after his move from Millwall last week.
Thompson started in midfield for Kenny Jackett’s Pompey as they won 2-1 at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night thanks to Ronan Curtis’ late goal.
Former Millwall captain Tony Craig was in the centre of Rovers’ defence, with ex-Millwall midfielder Ed Upson also on the losing side.
Portsmouth have won their four league games this season and are level on points at the top of the table with Peterborough.
Also in League One, Tom King conceded his first league goals of the season as AFC Wimbledon lost 3-1 at home to Walsall.
Sid Nelson made his first league start for Swindon in League Two. The Robins were 2-0 up at Crawley but had two men sent off and conceded a 99th-minute penalty equaliser.
