LINCOLN City grabbed their biggest win of the season as they continue to drag themselves into play-off contention.
Defender Alex Mitchell and his teammates won 5-1 at fifth-placed Barnsley in an eye-catching result in League One.
The Imps had been on a nine-game winless run in the league between December and February but are now unbeaten in 11.
The inconsistent form of Oxford United and back-to-back draws for Stevenage means the play-offs are now just six points away for Michael Skubala’s side with nine matches remaining.
Mitchell has made 27 appearances so far this season.
Elsewhere, the fight goes on for Nino Adom-Malaki in League Two as he played a full 90 minutes in Sutton United’s 1-1 draw with relegation rivals Grimsby Town.
Charlie Lakin equalised from the penalty spot after 88 minutes to rescue a point for Sutton. With third-bottom Colchester United losing at Barrow, Sutton sit just five points away from safety but have played more games than their fellow strugglers.
Away from the league action, Kamarl Grant was left on the bench as Bromley beat Barnet 2-0 to reach the FA Trophy semi-finals.
They will play Solihull Moors in the next round while Gateshead take on Macclesfield in the other semi.
