TYLER Burey is set to leave Millwall after the Lions accepted a bid for the winger.
Burey, 22, made 26 appearances last season but was out for almost four months before returning from the bench in the 3-2 win at Blackpool on the penultimate day.
The attacker was also introduced on the final day in the 4-3 defeat against Blackburn Rovers.
League One Oxford United are understood to be in pole position to land Burey, who has interest in him from other clubs.
Burey joined the Lions’ Development Squad from AFC Wimbledon in the summer of 2019 and made his senior debut as a substitute on the last day of that season, in a 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town at The Den.
Burey impressed briefly on loan at Hartlepool United at the start of the 2021-22 season before a hamstring injury cut short that spell.
Burey has played 58 times for Millwall and scored three goals. He signed a long-term deal last summer.
Earlier in the summer, Millwall released Mason Bennett and Oliver Burke returned to Werder Bremen after his loan.
The Lions will need to further bolster their attacking options after the arrival of Kevin Nisbet.
