MILLWALL face Blackpool at The Den this afternoon in their final match before the international break.
The mood in South Bermondsey isn’t overly positive, however, with the Lions sitting 19th in the table after nine games. They’ve lost four of their last five games, and supporters are keen for Gary Rowett to change the personnel and tactics for their match against the Tangerines.
Mason Bennett, Ryan Leonard and Shaun Hutchinson are all ruled out through injury, but the hosts have a full squad to choose from otherwise.
Team news
Rowett makes four changes to the side that lost 2-0 to QPR, sticking with his preferred back five.
The most surprising decision is that Bartosz Bialkowski has been dropped, with George Long coming into the starting XI.
Scott Malone returns to the side, coming in at left wing-back while Callum Styles moves into midfield. George Honeyman and Benik Afobe also come into the team, with Tom Bradshaw, Andreas Voglsammer and George Saville all dropping out.
Millwall XI: 5-3-2: Long; Malone, Wallace, Cooper, Cresswell, Shackleton; Honeyman, Mitchell, Styles; Flemming, Afobe
Substitutes: Bialkowski, McNamara, Evans, Bradshaw, Burey, Voglsammer, Saville
