Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted by a “6ft 2” man, who had his face covered, leaving her hospitalised with several facial injuries.
At 9.30am on Thursday, October 20, the victim was getting out of her parked car in an alleyway off of Lewisham Way.
A man, described as being 6ft 2, wearing a parka coat, black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side and a balaclava on his face, approached from behind and punched her in the face.
He forced her to the floor, continuing to punch her, before fleeing toward New Cross Road with her bag.
