The fight against breast cancer is coming to Tower Bridge with a charity night walk, writes Callum Burroughs…
Charity, Breast Cancer Care, have organised their second Pink Ribbonwalk on July 9, in a bid to raise awareness and funds for the specialist services they provide.
The walk begins at the Imperial War Museum before moving to Blackfriars and Tower Bridge. It will cross the Millennium Bridge to St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace.
Registration for the walk costs £30, with the minimum fundraising target set at £100.
There are three different route lengths available covering five, ten and 20 miles which the option to walk the streets until the early hours.
Walkers will receive a medal for completing the course and a t-shirt as a souvenir, along with a hot meal to finish the event.
Families are welcome to participate though the age limit for the ten and 20 mile walks is fourteen.
