A teenager was in a life-threatening condition after being stabbed in Walworth last Tuesday evening (May 31).
Police arrested two people after the attack on East Street, which took place at about 8.30pm. Neither had been charged by Monday (June 6).
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called to East Street, SE17, at 20.26pm on Tuesday, 31 May to reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS). A man, believed to be 19 years old, was found with stab wounds.
“He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as life-threatening.
“Two people (no further details) have been arrested. A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue.”
Officers told the News on Monday that the victim’s condition was no longer life-threatening.
