A Bermondsey man has been found guilty of having sex with a teenage girl under the legal age of consent and sentenced to six-and-a-half years imprisonment.
Thomas Castles, 32, was charged with five counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child under the age of sixteen, between 2018 and 2019.
Castles, of the Neckinger Estate, had pleaded not guilty, but was sentenced last Friday, October 28 at Woolwich Crown Court.
The court heard how he was found to have intentionally touched and kissed the girl when she was just fourteen and engaged in penetrative sexual activity when she was fifteen.
