Norway spruce Christmas Tree Delivery offer
Yango Deli, an ultrafast grocery delivery service that launched in London in October, is offering Christmas trees along with its usual mix of groceries and household staples from the 29th of November – and Southwark News readers are being offered a host of savings on their first orders.
The 5ft Norway spruce trees will be supplied by Pines and Needles, a family-run business founded by brothers Josh and Sam Lyle in Scotland. Pines and Needles previously made headlines when they supplied a tree to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2016, the first time the couple had been seen together in public.
“Ultrafast e-grocery companies are often thought of as snacks and drinks corner shops of the post-COVID era, but at Yango Deli we are striving to be more than that by giving people back their time, which they would have otherwise spent doing large supermarket trips. This holiday season, we want Londoners to spend time with their loved ones and do what they enjoy, while we take care of getting them whatever they need for the celebrations, including beautiful Christmas trees. From high-quality ingredients for your cooking adventures to hangover cures and pre hangover drinks, delivered within fifteen minutes — we’ve got you covered!’’ said Evgeny Chernikov, General Manager of Yango Deli UK.
Yango Deli has an assortment of around 2,500 products, delivered from hyperlocal warehouses, sometimes called darkstores, located in Bethnal Green, Battersea, Bermondsey and Acton. The ultrafast e-grocery service is part of Yandex, a NASDAQ-listed technology company that builds intelligent products and services powered by machine learning.
Christmas trees will be available to order via the Yango Deli app while supplies last, along with a special water-holding Christmas stand from Pines and Needles to keep your tree fresh for longer.
This festive season, Yango Deli will also turn into a ‘living advent calendar’ of sorts, delivering surprise gifts ranging from chocolates to packs of Christmas cards with every order. The Yango Deli Advent will take place December 1-24.
