Celebrate International Women’s Day at Peckham Levels This March
This 8th March, celebrate International Women’s Day at Peckham Levels, the event and retail space with over 100 local, independent businesses. From an exhibition showcasing local Black talent, to female-led talks and workshops on self-development, there’s a whole host of inspiring events and activities to be part of.
The Black He(art) Exhibition
A month-long showcase, The Black He(art) Exhibition invites the viewer on a journey to explore the theme of Black femininity via the medium of art. Exploring photography, digital art, textile art, and animation, the exhibition offers Black artists an opportunity to showcase their art and allow their talent to be seen.
8th March – 9th April. No ticket required.
The Power of Womxn
Watch, listen to and experience the incredible power of female and non-binary talent at The Power of Womxn. Platforming incredible local talent including singers, poets, spoken word artists, dancers, and impact entrepreneurs doing incredible things in their community, the event raises funds for Refuge: a charity that works locally supporting women and children escape from domestic violence.

The Sisterhood of Arts International Women’s Day Celebration – 12th March
Run by Sisterhood Arts, this is a day of female celebration featuring a female-led pop-up market, talks, and workshops led by and for women working in the arts and creative industries. Fuses both creative and self-development workshops, the day will include a very special Bgirl workshop led by 2024 Portuguese Olympic hopeful Vanessa Marina taking on this year’s International Women’s Day theme #breakthebias.
