A teenager has been arrested after a 15-year-old was stabbed in Walworth yesterday (Monday, June 13).
Police were called to East Street, SE17, shortly before 5.30pm to reports of a stabbing.
The wounded boy was treated at the scene and taken to hospital but his condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening.
A teenage male was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing GBH and has been taken into custody.
Police implemented a section 60 stop and search authority from 6pm on Monday until 7am on Tuesday “as a proactive measure to prevent and deter incidents of violence”.
