A car park fire has destroyed two garages in Walworth.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Catesby Street at 1.50pm this afternoon (Tuesday, August 15).
Six fire engines and forty firefighters had brought the fire under control by 3.54pm.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The London Fire Brigade said crew members used Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) fan capability to push smoke along the garage, providing crews with quick access into the property free of smoke.
Crews from Lambeth, Old Kent Road, Dockhead and Peckham fire stations all attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
