A man was taken to hospital after being attacked and allegedly robbed of his e-scooter in Walworth this week.
The attack happened on Tuesday, May 18 at around 2pm. Police have not arrested anyone and the investigation is ongoing.
The victim was taken to hospital with a head injury after being found in the street unresponsive.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.01pm to reports of an assault on Morecambe Street, SE17.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a car. A man was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital.”
A spokesperson for the Met Police added: “Police were called at 14:12hrs to Morecambe Street SE17 after a man was found unresponsive in the street.
“It is alleged that the male was robbed of his e-scooter. He was taken to hospital with a head injury. His condition is not life-threatening. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
