Chef Suzanne James, who runs East Dulwich events space and cookery school fifty seven, is hosting online cooking classes, as well as encouraging locals to shop from traders who, forced to shut up shop amidst the Coronavirus regulations, currently have fresh food going to waste.
“Our local traders have asked us to connect them to the community, and are offering box schemes in the short term to ensure they continue to trade and to keep people fed -without having to face the horrific situation at the supermarkets,” Suzanne said. Traders are offering home delivery to East Dulwich and surrounding areas.
For those looking for inspiration on what to cook, Suzanne is also doing daily Cupboard Cookery Classes on Instagram (via Instagram TV). Follow Suzanne on https://www.instagram.com/eastdulwichchef/
