A Walworth man is dead and a 60-year-old man charged with his murder after a fatal Soho stabbing on Monday, August 15.
Li Hunan, of Woodfield Gardens, New Malden is accused of killing 58-year-old Li Sung who police say lived in Southwark.
Mr Hunan appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 17 where he heard the charge against him. he was remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (Friday August 19).
On Monday, police were called at 11.40am to reports of a stabbing on Poland Street accompanied by London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
The found Mr Sung suffering with stab wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.20pm.
His next of kin have been informed and enquiries continue, led by detectives from the Specialist Crime Unit.
