Children can get free tennis lessons this summer and early autumn in Southwark Park.
The sessions, which are for children aged between seven and thirteen, run every Tuesday at 4.30pm-6.30pm. The sessions start next week – July 26 – and run until October 4. Equipment is provided for free.
Well-known local coach, Denis “Tennis” McMillan, will be running the sessions, which have been funded by sports shop Decathlon and Canada Water Dockside developers Art-Invest.
