The railway line between Brixton and Beckenham Junction did not open this morning as planned due to a hiccup in repairs.
As result, no trains ran between Shortlands and Victoria, via Penge East or Herne Hill this morning. The track has since re-opened but is running a reduce service. Disruption to Southeastern services is now expected until Monday, August 8.
The Southeastern railway line covering numerous south-east London stations first closed on Saturday July, 23, so the track could be replaced.

But disruption is set to continue after the team working on the replacement track found a damaged cable inside the tunnel while doing overnight checks.
Network Rail also says that workers still need to complete other outstanding works over the course of next week.
The railway track inside the 1.25-mile-long tunnel is being renewed. Works involve removing the old track, digging up the track bed, and then replacing the rail and ballast using a track laying machine.
The £5 million track replacement is part of the £1.25 billion South East Upgrade programme which aims to provide passengers in Kent and South East London with better journeys and fewer delays by improving railway infrastructure.
