A raft of Ark Walworth Academy students are sailing away with top grades and places at top universities.
Karis Akinlule is being considered for a place at the University of Cambridge and has a place at UCL after getting A*AA.
Vincent Cao got the top marks possible in his IT practitioner course and will study Computer Science at the University of Nottingham.
The Walworth School wrote: “We’re hugely proud of every one of our students for their resilience and determination.
“We’re grateful to the staff community and to our families for their continued support for the young people.”
The psychology class performed particularly well with 40 per cent of students achieving A* to A and 80 per cent getting at least a B.
Across the hall in History, 86 per cent of students got A* to B and there were some “great outcomes” in A level and BTec science.
Other individual success stories include Valery Jingwa who achieved two Distinction* and one Distinction for his Business BTec course and is off to study Accounting and Finance at the University of Brighton.
There is also Keri Korca, set to study Computer Science with her three A grades at A level, and Beatriz Gomez Marquez is taking up a place reading Archeological and Forensic Science at the University of Bournemouth.
One student, Cleopatra Idemudia, was even taking a video interview with Amazon during the results day process.
