Community Southwark is hosting a workshop on how to effectively influence the 2022 local elections.
The event will take place in the Peckham Levels, Auditorium room level 5, on the 9th of February and is free to attend.
Organisers say it is essential that residents of Southwark feel represented in the upcoming elections and that this workshop is designed to give attendees an insight into the best ways they can make their voices heard.
Jonathan Harty, the campaign manager for ’38 Degrees’, an online organisation that equips people with the tools to start campaigns, petitions and crowdfunding, will be talking about the various ways local residents can get their campaigns effective in the elections. He will be joined by Althea Smith, a community enabler and former Southwark Mayor.
