A free event to celebate Bolivian culture with traditional food, music and activities for kids is coming to Peckham.
Families and individuals of all ages are invited to learn with the traditions of the Cruzeño culture from Santa Cruz de La Sierra in Bolivia.
Hosted outdoors in Warwick Gardens Park on Saturday 27 July, the event promises to be a spectacle for all.
Organiser and local, Roberto Balcazar, has handmade every single traditional costume for the event. These costumes will be showcased in a carnival parade with live music and dancers.
Authentic Bolivian food on offer will include: Salteñas (chicken pastry), Azadito (minced beef, onion, cassava), Chicharrón de chancho (crispy pork) and a BBQ.
There will be a bouncy castle and face painting for children, as well as Bolivian artisan craft stalls.
When: Saturday 27 July from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
