A man was assaulted outside an East Dulwich pub last week in what has been claimed to be a bloody attack.
Onlookers report that the man, believed by police to be in his 50s, was involved in a fight outside the Palmerston Pub on Lordship Lane.
Police were called at roughly 4.55pm to the scene.
Despite some speculation online, police have confirmed that the man was not stabbed – but the attack did cause a larger than normal amount of blood, suggesting a weapon may have been involved.
However, there is no information confirming if this is the case.
The man’s injuries are not serious, and were treated in hospital.
Police have yet to make any arrests in relation to the event, and the investigation is ongoing.
