The Race for Life, which raises funds in the hope of finding a cure for cancer, is returning to a number of parks in south London this summer.
Cancer Research UK has been putting on its Race For Life events since 1994, and over thirty years more than 10 million people have taken part.
The Race for Life events are open to all ages and abilities. There is the choice of 3k, 5k and 10k events as well as Pretty Muddy, a 5k mud-splattered obstacle course, and a Pretty Muddy Kids option.
Money raised enables scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer – moving closer to a world where everyone can live longer, better lives free from the fear of cancer.
Anyone who joins this January can claim 50 per cent off the entry fee as part of a special ‘early bird’ sale by using the code RACE24NY.*
