Police have released images of three people they want to speak to as witnesses to the murder of a man in south-east London last year.
Emmanuel Ogabi, 26, was stabbed to death on Sandy Hill Road, a quiet residential street in Woolwich at about 7.45am on October 21, 2021. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a post-mortem examination found the cause of death to be a single stab wound.
Three people were charged with murder in connection with this case. Two have since been released with no further action. One man remains in custody. He appears for trial at the Central Criminal Court in January 2023.
Now police want to speak to three more people who they think may have information that can help them with the case.
Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Penney said: “These three people are sought as witnesses only and are not in any trouble. We believe they may have significant information that could assist our enquiries and would like to speak to them as soon as possible.
“If you are one of the people pictured or you think you know the person, please contact the incident room on 020 8721 4622.”
Anyone who has information that could help police bring Mr Ogabi’s killer to justice can call the incident room, or call 101/ @Twitter ref 1409/21OCT 2021.
