A Peckham apprentice met the Prince of Wales to celebrate 150 years of London’s sewers.
Fiona Keenaghan, 20, a civil engineering apprentice on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, spoke to Prince Charles at a reception at Abbey Mills Pumping Station in Stratford, on February 18.
Fiona said: “It was a privilege to meet Prince Charles. He was really interested in my apprenticeship and what it involves, and asked about how I got into it.”
