Police thanked members of the public who helped them find the family of a man who died on the railway tracks at Denmark Hill Station last month.
Carl Davidson, aged 53 – known as Chase – died at around 8pm on Tuesday, March 22. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Mr Davidson was from the South Bank area and was born in London. Despite extensive enquiries officers had not been able to find Mr Davidson’s next of kin or any other family members to tell them that he has died.
But after releasing a photo of Carl on Monday which was shared by the News on social media they were able to find the family within 24 hours.
British Transport Police said: “Thank you for sharing our appeal.”
