Southwark Works formally opened its new office with a ribbon cutting last week.
The service which helps people into work or apprenticeships moved from Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre to its new base in 376 Walworth Road in the summer.
It also helps local businesses recruit talent from the borough.
Its programme director, Jayne Couchman, said more than a hundred people had been helped into employment since the new office opened in July, and the team was seeing an overall increase in people registering.
Southwark councillor Stephanie Cryan, the cabinet member responsible for jobs, business and innovation, said: “We are committed to delivering a strong local economy for the people and businesses of Southwark to thrive in.
“As a council we have supported 8,054 residents into work and created 2,754 apprenticeships since 2014.”
