NINO Adom-Malaki got another 90 minutes of senior football under his belt but Sutton United are still without a win in Steve Morison’s eight league games in charge.
Calum Kavanagh scored the only goal for Bradford City at the weekend to leave former Millwall captain Morison’s U’s bottom of the League Two table, seven points off safety.
Another former Lions striker, Harry Smith, was twice denied by Bantams goalkeeper Sam Walker.
It was an 11th game without a win for Sutton before they host Colchester United – who are eight points above them in 21st – on Saturday.
Left-back Adom-Malaki, 19, has made six appearances since his loan move from Millwall.
In the National League, Kamarl Grant also played 90 minutes in Bromley’s stunning 4-3 win against leaders Chesterfield at Hayes Lane.
Grant was on the right side of the Ravens’ back three as Chesterfield led 1-0 at the break thanks to Will Grigg’s penalty.
A double from Michael Cheek put the hosts in front before Ollie Banks equalised.
Tom Naylor edged Paul Cook’s side back into the lead on 72 minutes before Cheek completed his hat-trick four minutes from time and Sam Woods grabbed a dramatic winner in the 94th minute.
It was a first win in six league games for Andy Woodman’s side and a first defeat in 14 league games for Chesterfield.
Second-placed Bromley are still 20 points behind the Spireities. They are two points ahead of Barnet and have an eight-point cushion back to Solihull Moors in fourth as they protect their play-off semi-final spot, though both those sides have a game in hand.
Bromley host Dagenham & Redbridge tonight.
In League One, Alex Mitchell made his 28th appearance of the season in Lincoln City’s 1-0 win at home against Exeter.
Mitchell played the full game on the right side of the back three as Joe Taylor scored the only goal.
Lincoln are 10th, 11 points off the play-offs, and travel to Port Vale on Saturday.
