A woman is in a critical condition having been hit by a bus in Queen’s Road in Peckham this morning.
The collision was reported shortly after 8am, at the junction with Asylum Road, next to Queen’s Road Station.
A Met police spokeswoman has said the woman was “aged in her fifties” and has suffered “life-threatening injuries”.
She was taken to King’s College Hospital by air ambulance.
The bus stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
A large section of Queen’s Road has been closed, and police say it will remain closed “for the foreseeable future”.
