MILLWALL will play Charlton Athletic in pre-season – and face former manager Neil Harris when they take on Gillingham.
The Lions squad are back in pre-season training on June 28 before a training camp in Spain.
After they return, their first senior friendly will be against Harris’ Gills at Priestfield Stadium on Saturday, July 15 (1pm).
Gary Rowett’s side then head to League Two Sutton United on Tuesday, July 18 (7.45pm).
A week later, the Lions welcome the Addicks to The Den for another 7.45pm kick-off. It will be the first meeting between the sides since July 2020 when Jake Cooper scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at The Valley in the Championship.
Millwall’s final warm-up game will be against Zian Flemming’s former club Fortuna Sittard. That will be at The Den on Saturday, July 29 at 1pm.
The Championship kicks off the following weekend, with the fixtures to be released this Thursday.
As well as two behind-closed-doors games, and Millwall XI fixtures, the club have also said they are working on arranging another friendly in front of fans.
Ticket details for the fixtures listed above will be communicated on millwallfc.co.uk as soon as possible.
