A woman has been taken to hospital after a Tulse Hill house fire believed to have been caused by an electronic item that came into contact with a cooking hob.
Two children escaped the property on Birkbeck Place before firefighters arrived on Wednesday, March 15, at 6.39pm.
The woman suffered from smoke inhalation.
Three fire engines and around fifteen firefighters from West Norwood and Brixton fire station had brought the fire under control by 8.44pm.
