Inconsistent Stans remain in bottom half

STANSFELD/ELTHAM PALACE suffered mixed fortunes recently by following a home win last Tuesday week with defeat on Saturday.

Harry Fox, Jack Gibbons and Billy Jolley scored as Stansfeld beat Orpington 3-1.

But they were brought back down to earth at the weekend at local rivals Forest Hill Park.

The away side had to play the first 55 minutes with only ten men but held on until five minutes from time when they lost to a deflected strike.

Stansfeld/Eltham Palace are at home to Lydd Town on Saturday in the SCEFL Division One.

Kick-off is at 3.00pm. The Reserves made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 victory over Halls.
