Lionesses’ double defeat

Millwall Lionesses tasted league defeat for the first time this campaign after they lost two games in a week.

Their first lost came last Wednesday against London Bees when an injury time penalty from Nicola Watts saw the Bees win 2-1.

Jo Wilson opened the scoring for Millwall’s opponents before Naomi Cole levelled things up before the late drama decided the contest.

Last Saturday’s game, played at The Den after Millwall’s men’s game, was not as close as the Lionesses slipped to a disappointing 4-0 home defeat. For the latest news on the club visit www.millwall.fawsl.com.
