Docklands claim victory

Docklands Under-12’s signed off 2016 with a 3-1 victory at Hillfielders last weekend.

Going into the game with an eye on keeping up their solid form, Docklands went 1-0 up early on through a Bjorn Thomas strike, but the hosts levelled later in the first half after a rebound from an initially saved penalty kick was scored.

Docklands, however, turned up the heat in the second half, showing more urgency and piling more pressure on Hillfielders – that paid off, as Thomas scored once more and Ben Sengare made up for his earlier mistake of giving away the penalty, as Docklands won the game 3-1.
