Charities to benefit from Dulwich Hamlet initiative

Dulwich Hamlet have announced another ‘Pay what you like’ fixture, with proceeds to be donated to charity, writes John Kelly…

Football Beyond Borders and the Dog Kennell Hill Adventure Playground will be the beneficiaries of cash received at the turnstiles, after match-day costs have been covered at their Ryman League Premier Division fixture at home to Worthing this Saturday (November 19).

George Parnavelas, part of the club committee community team, said: “It promises to be a great day, and the beauty is it doesn’t matter if you donate over the odds, or just a penny. It’s attractive to all, rich or poor, and it will hopefully encourage a few more Worthing fans to travel up on the day too.”

The game will kick off at Champion Hill at 3pm.
