Southwark Bridge artwork commuters find themselves in a galaxy far, far away…

The force was certainly with Southwark commuters this morning when they stumbled upon an immersive piece of Star Wars art under Southwark Bridge.

The 15-metre long artwork, which depicts the iconic ‘trench run’ scene from the sci-fi classic, was created to mark the launch of a new Star Wars play-set.

If you want to see the artwork for yourself you’ll need to be quick – it’s will be washed away at 8pm tonight.
