Rotherhithe’s Tesco to start selling seaweed

Seaweed is on the menu in Surrey Quays, with Tesco being chosen to stock the world’s first frozen seaweed drops.

The store has been chosen as one of the first stores in the UK to sell Seakura Seaweed drops, which, it is claimed, can add multiple health benefits to anything from stews to smoothies.

The product is farmed in organic eco-ponds, making it the world’s only organic seaweed. Each pack contains 16 frozen seaweed cubes, which can be used as and when.
