Firefighters called to blaze on Peckham bus

Firefighters battled a blaze on a bus on Tuesday morning after flames were seen coming out of the rear of a bus on Peckham Rye

The number 63 had to pull over at the junction of St Aidan’s Road and wait for the fire brigade.

A crew of firefighters was dispatched from New Cross station just before 9am and they had the blaze under control by 9.15.

No one was injured in the fire
