Del Boy ‘to tell own rags to riches story’ in new autobiography

Peckham’s most famous fictional son – Del Boy Trotter – is releasing his autobiography this year, called He Who Dares.

Publishers, Ebury, have set up a Peckham Press label solely for the purposes of selling the rags to riches entrepreneurial tale with the tagline – ‘You’ve heard of The Wolf of Wall Street, now meet The Pug of Peckham.’

Press officer ‘Damien Trotter’ said his dad will share ‘never-before-told stories of his childhood, offer nuggets of business advice for budding entrepreneurs and will tell his glorious tale of rags to riches to rags to rich(ish) in full.’

Ebury bought the worldwide rights to the character from the estate off the late Only Fools And Horses creator John Sullivan. The book is due for release in hardback in October.
