Ahoy there! Help experts build a giant Lego ship

Shoppers can help Lego experts build a giant ship at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre next week.

The expert Lego brick builders will be creating a three metre long ship similar to ones that would have been seen in the Rotherhithe docks during its heyday. Once completed, the creation will be displayed in the centre for the month of August.

The centre is also looking to name the ship, and is inviting customers to submit suggestions before Sunday, August 16. The winner will receive a hamper of Lego toys. The experts will be at the centre between 11.30am and 4.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, July 29 and 30.
