Firefighters cut injured woman free from car after collision in Mandela Way

Firefighters cut an injured woman out of a bashed up car after a collision in Mandela Way, SE1, last night.

Three fire engines, police and the London Ambulance Service attended the junction with Dunton Road at 7:46pm, where two cars had collided.

Police said one car, believed to have been involved in the collision, was later found abandoned nearby.

It was confirmed that one woman was taken to a south London hospital with non-life-threatening and non-life-changing injuries.
