Pupils get creative and design council’s Christmas card

Children from an Elephant and Castle primary had their designs chosen for the council’s official Christmas card, this year.

Council Leader Peter John popped into Charlotte Sharman Primary School to check out the Christmas cards made by the school’s creative pupils.

The card will also be used by Southwark’s mayor.

Cllr John said: “I was delighted to visit Charlotte Sharman Primary School’s Christmas room and meet the children who designed such brilliant Christmas cards for us this year. “On behalf of everyone at Southwark Council I would like to wish all our residents a very Merry Christmas, and a happy and healthy new year.”
