Police appeal for witnesses after smash and grab at Holiday Inn, Southwark

Police are appealing for witnesses after a smash and grab at a Southwark hotel by man in high-viz jacket.

A six foot tall man forced open the front door of the Holiday Inn in Southwark Street in at around 2am in the morning of Wednesday April 15.

He then stole two computers from the reception area before escaping on the back a white motor scooter ridden by a getaway rider.

The computer-theif is described as being 6’3″ tall of stocky build. He was wearing a full face black crash helmet, black hoody, with a yellow hi-viz jacket and blue track suit bottoms with two white stripes down the side of legs.

Officers from Southward CID investigate but no arrests have been made.
