Team London Bridge collect over 1,000 presents for charities

Over 1,000 Christmas presents have been donated by the London Bridge business community, a “hugely generous” collection that will benefit eight local charities.

The festive gift drive, which saw 25 companies contribute, was organised by Team London Bridge, the business improvement district for the area.

The scheme also relied on the sellotaping skills of 51 volunteer elves, who adorned each and every one of the 1,128 gifts in festive wrapping paper.

The charities that benefited from the Yuletide collection were Bede House, Beormond Centre, CoolTan Arts, the Manna Centre, Ronald McDonald House, South London Mission, Stones End Centre and Time and Talents.
