Local man gets £10k a month from the National Lottery

A man from Southwark has won £10,000 monthly payments for a whole year after playing the National Lottery’ Set For Life.

The mysterious winner, who is an operations manager from the borough, successfully matched the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Thursday, May 16 of this year and plans to use the cash from the online game to go travelling.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Huge congratulations to ‘Mr. S’ for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.

“After a few simple clicks he can now look forward to receiving £10,000 every month for a year – one thing is for sure, it’ll be a year that he’ll never forget.”
