Fright bites sell like hot cakes in aid of Homes4Heroes

Terrifying treats sold like hot cakes on Saturday, raising hundreds of pounds for the Rotherhithe-based Homes4Heroes charity.

Arments’ pie and mash shop put hand-decorated home-made cupcakes on the menu for Halloween and raised over £200 in cake sales alone with money still coming in from a raffle and donations.

Homes4Heroes founder and Pearly King Jimmy Jukes was on hand to sample the frightening bites and Pearly Queen of Camberwell, Michelle Thorpe, apparently felt the event was blooming marvellous.
