Borough High Street closed in both directions following accident

Borough High Street has been closed in both directions following a road accident.

The road has been cordoned off with police tape both ways between Marshalsea Road and Southwark Street following an accident at Union Street at about 1.30pm today.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Traffic is queuing in the area and a detour is in place.

Bus Routes: 17, 21, 35, 40, 47, 48, 78, 133 and 343 are being diverted.
