Ground floor property damaged by blaze in Cooks Road, Walworth

Four fire engines and 21 fire fighters tackled a blaze at a flat in Walworth on Friday afternoon.

No one was injured in the fire, which engulfed the ground floor property in Cooks Road.

The Fire Brigade was called just after 3.15pm and brought the blaze under control by 4pm. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
