Hollywood glamour comes to Rotherhithe as ‘Marilyn’ re-opens bowling alley

A touch of Hollywood glamour came to Rotherhithe last week when Marilyn Monroe paid a visit.

The look-a-like cut the ribbon on Hollywood Bowl’s 28 new-look lanes after its £350,000 makeover. The Surrey Quays bowling alley unveiled a new Hollywood diner with a booth made from a vintage Mustang car at its reopening.

Six new VIP lanes named after American icons are also part of the development, alongside a diner serving ‘signature’ sundaes.
