Southwark Council extends leisure centre opening times

Leisure centre opening hours will be extended to 10pm from next Sunday, after a positive response to the council’s free swim and gym pre-registration.

Councillor Maisie Anderson, Southwark Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Health, Parks and Leisure, said: “We’ve had a great response so far to our free swim and gym pre-registration.

“Now with a week to go before the launch, I’m excited to announce that from Sunday 31 July we will be extending opening hours in all our leisure centres to 10pm. This will give residents more time to swim and use the gym for free.”
